Opsgenie migration

Move the operating model, not just a contact list.

WarnFire inventories users, teams, schedules, overrides, escalation policies, services, and integrations in a reviewable assessment. Schedule simulation exposes routing gaps without paging responders; recent-alert comparison is added when the read-only key can access alerts.

A controlled path

Inventory, assess, rebuild, verify, cut over.

1. Read inventory

Connect read-only access and discover users, teams, schedules, rotations, overrides, policies, services, and inbound integrations.

2. Assess compatibility

See what maps directly, what needs an explicit choice, and what should be retired instead of silently approximated.

3. Compare routing

Simulate schedule resolution for the next seven days at hourly intervals. If alert-read access is available, compare up to 100 recent alerts against the proposed routing.

4. Apply supported configuration

After blockers are resolved, apply supported users, schedules, escalation policies, and overrides in one transaction. Teams, services, and integration credentials remain explicit manual work.

5. Cut over deliberately

Create services and fresh integration keys, move senders service by service, send labeled lifecycle tests, and keep the previous sender route available as an operational rollback until the response loop is proven.

6. Preserve evidence

Keep migration findings, comparison results, and applied-resource records available for operational review.

No assessment pages responders.

Inventory and comparisons are point-in-time, read-only checks—not a live traffic shadow. WarnFire paging begins only when you deliberately connect and test a monitoring source.

What transfers

Supported response configuration.

WarnFire can create supported users from name and email, schedules and rotations, bounded user overrides, and escalation policies. Phone delivery methods are not imported.

What stays manual

No credential or routing shortcut.

Teams are assessed but not imported. Services must be created and connected to the reviewed policies, and every monitoring source receives a new WarnFire integration key. Unsupported or conflicting constructs remain visible for redesign.
